Since April, 2 the “Russia” TV channel began broadcast of a show “the Magnificent eight”. The judge at four competitions (of eight) became Sergey Lukianenko. Teleshow is broadcast on Sundays at 3:05 pm

“The magnificent eight” is the game designed for teenagers from 13 till 17 years, simultaneously being the promo in support of summit of the Big Eight which will pass in July of 2006 year. In it participates eight teams (eight person in each) from the following cities: Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Ekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Kazan, Moscow and Novosibirsk. In each competition from each team it will be eliminated on one person and the games which have stayed by the end teenagers can take part in summit together with Vladimir Putin and leaders of other countries of the Big Eight.
